Dear Representative,

Please sign onto HR3133 Acupuncture for Our Seniors Act. The bill would amend the XVIII of the Social Security Act to provide coverage for acupuncturist services under the Medicare program. The bill would authorize CMS to recognize qualified acupuncturists as Medicare providers as well as enabling acupuncturists to bill Medicare directly for their services. Over 60-million Medicare beneficiaries could have direct access to acupuncture treatment from the most qualified providers of acupuncture services as a result.

Acupuncture has been practiced in the United States since the 1700’s. It has gone through much study and should be an option for the management of pain.

Please consider not only supporting this legislation but to advocate for the inclusion.
